Following are product specifications that Beldon Cable lists for both RG58
and RG59 type cable. I am not sure what the Sat. Cable characteristics are,
but thought the following information still might be interesting to you.

Cable Type Attenuation (db/100 m @ 1 MHZ) (db/100 m @ 10 MHZ)

RG58 (50ohm) 1.1 to 1.5 3.9 to 4.6

RG59 (75ohm) 1.4 to 2.0 3.0 to 3.6

Thought the above information would be interesting to you since this is not
what most people would normally think right away.

As the frequency goes higher the Attenuation of typical RG58 becomes much
greater than RG59, but on 160 meters RG59 attenuation is by no means lower
than RG58, and it might actually be somewhat higher.

At 100 MHZ rg58 13.1 to 16.1 rg59 9.5 to 11.2
