Well i wanted to thank everyone for the response to my vertical antenna ?
For a report i ended up with a 73' vertical 2" dia with a 22'8" top hat and
so far 60 ground radials which seems to performe well next to my full size
inverted vee which was a temp antenna until i can get up my 156' tower for tx.
Also finished 8 beverages with the ice terminating an matching at each end
an have been looking at the details posted recently on the k1fz stuff
interesting
So for interested parties here is the run down
1 north 520ft
2 northeast 1100ft
3 east 2200ft
4 southeast 1100ft
5 south 1100ft
6 southwest 1100 ft
7 west 1100ft
8 northwest 1100ft
all seeming to be working well listened to 5c8m at 2000z working eu on 80 3
hrs before my sunset last night
but never heard a peep out of v85aa today
