To Broadband a shuntfeed, try paralleling two shunt feed wires. The spacing between wires should be about the same as the face width of your triangular or rectangular tower. I believe Gary Breed, K9AY, wrote something about this a few years ago in the Low Band Monitor, edited by Lance Johnson.
