Hello All,
I saw this exact disaster occur 5 years ago where a 9Y was on 1.840 and was
listening up 10. Uknown to 2 ragchewers having a QSO on 1.850 they were
suddenly hammered by many Contesters calling the 9Y. Not even one asked if
the Freq. was in use. I had to let them know what was up because noone
even bothered to listen for them. Bandplans could work to a degree, however
I cannot always agree with the ops trying to work a "new one". The only SSB
signals should be outside NA. But the CW-DX ops who are calling (if they even
here SSB on freq.) could move as well. Those trying to work the "new one",
well thats DX'ing...
