Ken,

For the installation at W7MCO (take a look at www.eaars.org/~n7gp ) at the
insulated base located 30 feet above ground I installed the coiled coax
chokes made of small silver plated teflon insulated cable for both the
10/15/20 Meter feedline and the 40 Meter feedline.  For the rotator cable I
did the same as you suggest.  All three neat coils are tucked just under the
plates holding the insulators as you can see in the photos.  Works great.
Absolutely no difference in readings for the 160 antenna whether these lines
are connected through ( I installed connectors so all three lines could have
the chokes removed from the circuit if needed) the chokes or totally
disconnected.  Good show.
