Hi All, Happy Memorial Day Weekend. Does anyone know what happens when one tries to shunt feed a tower with a yagi at mid height? Does it mess up the radiation pattern on 160? Does it isolate the tower above, or simply make a fat spot like the loading ring ON4UN shows on his 125 foot tower? I assume it matters whether the reflectors and directors are insulated from the boom or whether they are grounded to the boom like HyGain construction. All comments greatly appreciated. 73 George K8GG |
