G'day
In eight days time, there is the premier annual topband event in VK/ZL and
a chance for stations in other parts of the world to join in and maybe get
that desired VK or ZL - or even P2 - QSO.
Certificates are on offer for the leading station in each DXCC country, so
if you can manage just one QSO, you are likely to get a piece of
'wallpaper' for your efforts.
Conditions have been very poor in VK6 this winter, but I understand
stations in VK3 have been making the usual trans-pacific QSOs into North
America.
If you are interested in the contest and have any questions about the
rules, the organiser Ian VK3VP can be e-mailed at: contests@wia.org.au
Good luck, and I hope to work you in the contest.
