Charles, et. al. I think this is the same scatter type reflection used to make 6, 10 & 15 meter contacts with stations beyond the ground wave limits, and too close for normal reflection off the upper atmosphere. Normally there is short skip reflection at the edge of ground wave propagation on the medium wave bands that is stronger than storm front reflection. This is due to higher angle reflections back to earth at lower frequencies. 73 George, K8GG |
