I just worked W7CB/6Y5 but it was a struggle because he did not work split.
With QSB being different into different areas you get a situation where
everybody is calling in top of the DX at one time or another.The station the
Dx is coming back to may be deep down in QSB when his turn comes so repeating
the callsign several times is a good idea.
Experienced top-banders know this, but they may not be the ones going places
for the CQ WW ! hi
So if you know somebody is going to operate from a rare or semi-rare place on
160, please give him some useful operating hints, f ex split is important and
5 up is better than 1 !!!!!
