Dick, An easy way out and probably the least expensive is to bend a
ring out of some Home Depot 1 inch copper tubing. Bend it in a circle
and put a coupling where the two ends come together. You can fit this
to the size required. Solder the radials directly with Silver Solder or
as a second choice use a bunch of stainless steel hose clamps to attach
the radial wires. If the second option is used it would be a good idea
to elevate ring above ground by a few inches and wrap the connections
with Butyl rubber and good electrical tape.
Good Luck,

Who makes a good radial plate...I have found one that is made of aluminum
but concerned about dissimilar metal corrosion over time...probably brass
would be best...or stainless steel...any ideas... Dick W4NTG....
