There certainly isn't anything wrong with experimenting. We just have to
understand the basic rules of the game. I hope receivers aren't falling into
the same tar pit as some antenna manufacturers have taken antennas!

I don't doubt you heard what you heard, and that someone or something on a
display *told you* BW was 25 to 50Hz.
All I'm saying is it takes a certain BW to pass the rise and fall without
stretching the time, and 40mS sounds like a whole lot of "ringing" to most
people.
