Actually, I haven't had any problem so far with coax lying on the ground or up in the air. My big problem was with directly buried RG-214. I replaced it with "Direct Burial" RG-213. Haven't checked it in a while. Last couple of years my RG-59 lying on the ground hasn't been bothered. Keeping my fingers crossed re the RG-6.
