Very strong USA stations were heard calling Eu for a long time
with beverage rx aerials. When the vertical or carolina windom
at 100ft was used for rx very little of the stations calling were heard.
Even playing with AGC on/off and attenuation settings they could not
be copied due to the splatter of hugely over driven signals.
3.5 mhz was the best this year to Asia VK9 / VK and Usa last night with
very strong signals. Eu tuners / noise makers were out in force.
