Keep working on it, Charles! Many of us have found the 1026 a very useful
gadget. I use a Beverage and in inverted-V for its two antennas. At times,
it lowers my noise floor from S8 to S1. My circumstances are clearly
different from yours, so you may have to play around a bit to get similar
results.
