Yesterday I jury rigged a makeshift tuning unit to get a 220' piece of wire 35 ft off the ground to just load on 160. Running about 20 Watts to the wire my first QSO was JH0BBE. I heard many JAs and worked V31 599. Great condx. What a thrill with QRP and a 26Ga wire.
