Dear Colleagues,
I'm trying to get on 160M and 80M so I can join all of you!
I have a wooded lot with several high trees on my property here in Central
Virginia.
I've just put up my first tower after being a ham for 38 years and I'm having
tree work done in prep for the antenna raising.
For 160M, I'm thinking some kind of inverted L might be most practical here as
the lot is about 150' x 350' with the house in the center.
I also have about 800' of #12 solid Copper insulated wire I'd like to use.
Any comments or suggestions for 160M and 80M antennas would be appreciated.
73,
Mike DiGirolamo, W4XN

PS Anyone know of a book focusing only on 160/80M antennas? Other books besides
ARRL handbook and antenna book?
