I'd like to try a west coast station with a decent setup. It was fairly reliable to work K6SE years ago on the days Earl was on. 100 watt stations from the north coast are typically 20-30dB out of noise here in the daytime although QSB is very deep. I've been using a 220 ft vertical. When I change to the dipole at 300 feet at 1PM local time everyone says I vanish! 73 Tom . _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
