Topband: TOPBAND CONDITIONS TO NA

While many experienced the frustration of hearing EU stations calling 
endlessly while answering very few calls, imagine my utter surprise when, at 
2200Z yesterday in full sunlight I heard CN3A with a true 599 signal....I 
called once and had a QSO, following that up by 8 more of the same in short 
order.  Running my usual 100 watts as well.  Go figure!  Our topband sure is 
a fickle lover!
