What I intend to do shortly is use spectrum analyzer software and an 
SDR-IQ to look at several different alternatives.  Still eyeball, but 
at least it's the whole band at once.  I'll be testing the ON4UN 
dual-choke design as well as a new one that K8ZOA at Clifton Labs 
(www.cliftonlaboratories.com) is prototyping.  It uses two different 
cores in each choke, with ground at the junction, in order to deliver 
good performance up to 30 MHz, for his active antenna, which I'm 
using with CW Skimmer.
