Hi Herb,

If it'll inspire more than a few of us to re-engage that REAL Ham spirit
which historically links us up there in the hallowed legions of
"...tinkerers and experimenters", I say, bring it on...

Far too many radio Amateurs to-day seem to have bigger credit card limits
than they have imagination. Perhaps if there are fewer "toys" for us
collectively to outright purchase across the counter, then maybe---just
maybe!---our scrounging instincts will kick back into gear, & we might start
"homebrewing" yet again, albeit on a smaller scale...

...And that, surely, can NOT be such a bad thing, IMHO!
