Hi, I've just picked up a used HI-Z triangular antenna array & wonder where I might best insert my ICE RF limiter/arrestor (model 196) & the in-line preamp. I'm guessing to not overload the preamp and attenuate any spikes coming from nearby Rf or lightning strikes, the limiter would come first & the preamp afterward? Would these be best placed near the antenna or inside the shack? The amount I don't know is impressive... Thanks, Gary KA1J _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK |
