Actually, I think it might have worked far better than you think. Tom's
excellent post noting that any station must be considered as a system,
and describing yet another way that a power amp can add trash to a clean
signal should be an education to us all -- it certainly was for me. And
he would never have made that post if he had not seen AC6DD's response
to my post. FWIW, I continue to be impressed by the tenacity with which
Tom digs into all aspects of design projects he's working on.
K6NV and I have been corresponding, and he's working on his issues.
