I'm starting to think about antenna work this summer and one of the items on my list of improvements is my 160M capability. I have 2 150' towers on my property that are 192' apart and lined up at about a 39 degree azimuth. I was planning on building a phased array of inverted L's 255' apart (1/2 wl spacing). Another thought is to do 2 groundplanes with the feed point at about 50' and 4 elevated radials. Pros/Cons? Could I get away with 192' spacing and call it good? Thanks in advance and 73,Guy N7ZG _________________ Topband Reflector |
