Don,
I have the HI Z 4-8Pro and I am very pleased with it. I had 4 1200ft beverages
up and the HI Z was as good or better at times than the beverages with AB
testing . The beverages are now down. What was most surprising is it heard as
well as my 3 element 80M yagi. Another added benefit is when I have rain static
(20 over S9) on the yagi the HI Z is quiet enabling me to continue working the
band.

Subject: Topband: receive antenna opinions
Dear Group
I have hit the limits of my antenna's and have come to the realization I am
more TX than RX, which I guess is the norm for the topband and 80m.
Anyway am considering putting a second receiver in my K3 and putting up a
receive only antenna.
Things that I have been looking at are as follows
The shared alex loop array either a SAL 20 or 30
The other is the Hi-Z system either the 3 or 4 antenna receive system.
I do not have the acreage for a beverage system but I have room for one of the
above.
So I wish to get opinions and pros & cons as I have learned its better to learn
from others on what did or did not work well or what compromises they made as
once you spend the money you can not get it back and you have to live with your
choices.
Thanks in advance for all your help and advice.
