I agree with Tom--that calling out of turn is one of the least damaging mistakes we can make in a pileup. 25 Hz filters can often take care of the problem. But here's the rub...the guys who zero-beat the DX station make it a lot more difficult to separate them from the DX. Isn't there a rule-of-thumb somewhere that says "Never zero-beat the station you're calling?" And BTW, I'd raise my hand with all the others who've made both of these mistakes.
