The pile last night got fairly large at one point. They were spread out
about 3 KHz. . .maybe not quite enough considering the number of stations
calling. Nevertheless, the 160m op last night was doing an incredibly good
job of getting stations in the log. He was also patient and persistent.

I have noticed that, for whatever reason, they are generally
only listening a few kHz down. I like to find the edge of
the pileup and call there in the clear. This sometimes
works well, but not for VK0EK. I keep hearing them
coming back to stations on close in frequencies.
