A little known and used method of matching 50 ohm loads and sources to 75 ohm
coax is the "series transformer". They are by their very nature single band
devices but there are applications as they allow the 75 ohm line to be any
desired length.

Basically the series transformer in the 50 to 75 ohm case boils down to a 30
degree length of 75 ohm coax followed by a 30 degree length of 50 ohm coax.
At the radio end, the reverse is done: 30 degree length of 50 ohm coax
followed by 30 degree length of 75 ohm coax. Ain't science wonderful!? Try
