Did you purchase an IC-756 at the special introductory price and feel
frustrated when the "nonspecial" regular price droped $200-$300 less
than the introductory price? This happened to a friend of mine, he
called the dealar who told him to contact Icom as they might be offering
some type of rebate or refund to those who purchased the IC 756 at the
introductory price. He called Icom and as a refund they offered him a
$200 certificate towards full retail price of any Icom accessories. He
expressed displeasure as the 1.9 Khz SSB filter he wanted lists for
$250.00. After a few more minutes of talking they offered to let him
have the filter as a refund. They made him promise not to spread news of
this on the internet, well he isn't but I am. The individuals to
