I've used one of these for almost 10 years now and have had no real
problems with it.  I've taken it apart twice (always in conjunction with
some other tower project that had me doing a climb anyway) and cleaned
the relay contacts.  It certainly was a lot cheaper than several extra
300 ft coax runs!
