Rolfe, the next time you want to key the rig from the shack while up
the tower or so forth,
place your rigs' mike near the speaker of your two meter radio. Set for
VOX, and then use
a handheld from the tower and key a tone...Tone will be received in the
shack which will
turn on the rig and give you output....if you use FM or AM, set it at a
real low level and let
the amp do the work....Works great for adjusting antennas right at the
source.
