1.  Don't allow coax coming out of a connector to make a sharp bend. 
Something will eventually fail.

2.  Don't put a BNC with a UHF and then coax without supporting the coax
somehow to avoid breaking something in the adaptor stage.  This is a
purely mechanical problem.

3.  Label coax lines.  Some people use colored tapes.  Some use nail
polish colors.  You don't want to trace out lines by following one by
hand during the middle of a contest while lacking sleep.

4.  Make or buy all lines the same length so that they are substitutable.
Do  not make custom lengths for each band or rig.  In other words:  Make
them all 3' or all 5' or all 10', whatever.  If you ever split rigs apart
to do a multi-single, instead of SO2R, you'll also want to use additional
jumpers all the same lengths.

5.  Make or buy spares.  Easier now than at 9 am during the EU "rush."
