<< The weight given for the 24 foot length is interesting. The 24 footer
I bought from Texas Towers weighed in ( according to the shipping
manifest ) at 155 pounds. I can lift 100 pounds...I cannot lift that
mast. Course, it is also galvanized...

3/8" wall chrome moly weighs 7.5 lbs/ft. Galvanizing adds 5% to the weight,
so a 24' chrome moly mast should weigh approximately 190lbs. Last I heard,
Texas Towers only stocked carbon steel masts, but that may have changed.
Freight companies often "guess" at the weight of items that do not fit
convenitently on scales. I've seen 30% variation in freight charges for masts
going to the same city.
