Doug,

As usual, their figures are controversial . One can disagree
with Force 12 but at least they are giving the reference
method for comparison. I would like to see this at all
antenna manufacturers.

I'm sorry, but this is all the same old 'gain' shuck-and-jive and is precisely
the reason that QST won't publish gain figures for antennas! I REALLY believe
that a 3 element yagi has 13dB gain over SOMETHING, but WHAT? Certainly not a
dipole, a wet string perhaps. Without a specific reference these numbers
are totally meaningless.
