The typical FL shack is the third or fourth bedroom of the house...meaning
that yes you do have a view of the out of doors usually...
.....it is much more difficult being a tower and antenna enthusiast in
South Florida, since we do not have basements......despite our ability to
do near year round antenna and tower work...things like "sheds" are
necessitated due to the fact that the water table is usually as high as the
holes we dig for our towers!
I think I will continue to suffer with having a high water table.....there
are a few other "upsides".
