      The first thing is to make sure you're using U-bolts with saddles. These
come with muffler clamps but not all U-bolts. You're trying to add some more
friction to the joint.

     I think that the fiberglass is pretty strong and probably stronger than
the aluminum tubing. Try tightening it a little more too.
