Yes. There are two different styles.
No. The connectors are not interchangeable. The connector to
cable interface for the spiral type cable is much more difficult
to seal. It requires a large adhesive lined heatshrink boot (our
installers refer to this stuff as snotshrink) for sealing.
The connector for the straight corrugated cable is inherently
sealed (with o-rings) if applied correctly. No heatshrink
needed.
I wouldn't use the spiral corrugated cable unless I was forced
to.
