Gents and Ladies;

At RF, does stranded wire provide any less loss than solid wire for
transmission lines. The NEC charts do not show any current carrying
capability differences at 60 Hrz powerline frequencies but perhaps skin
effect would be different at RF. As tightly as this matereial is often
spun there seems to be more copper surface avaiable than in the solid
material. All assumption being made on the stranded wire being brand new,
shiney and not yet weathered.
