In the storms over central UK last night I loast my 10/15 tower! It was =
a 5 section crank-up type. The failure point was the top lifting rope =
which must have had extra load put on it as the guys were tensionioned =
on the windward side due to 80MPH gusts.
So does anyone know who supplies fixed tower to the UK and are rotatable =
types really very expensive?
For anyone feeling sympathetic I will be doing a 20M single band effort =
as M8Z all be it with the remaining tower only at 60fot (It looks like =
we are in for a repeat of the storms tommorow)
