Hey All:
I initially used the term magnetic declination in an early post on the
subject. Someone corrected my usage to "deviation". The corrector
was wrong as it related to what I was describing.
On US Coast and Geodetic Survey maps, some call topo maps, the word
declination is used to define or indicate the difference between true
North and magnetic North.
I stand by my post.
But, I have enjoyed all this, as others have already stated.
