Hi Rick,

I'm not sure I get the complete picture of what you are
planning to do.  There are two things I would be concerned
about.  One is making sure the cable lines up properly with
the pully no matter what part of the drum it is coming off
of.  The other is to make sure the forces applied to the
cable drum by the cable tension are still distributed over
the drum axle in the same manner as with the original drum
orientation.  I somehow don't think they will be, but then
again, I said I did not really have the picture of what you
are thinking of doing . . .
