Hello All
As part of my on going preparations to move east I took down 4 170' tower
with a crane. It all went well in and took about 5 hours.
I also made a deal with a landscaping contractor to be on site with a
backhoe. He dug on several sides of the base and we pulled all the bases and
guy posts, loaded them on a flat bed and hauled them away. By 5 PM all the
holes were filled and rough graded.
I have guy posts on all the tower bases as well a the guy points. They all
have welded plates for turn buckles. That really helped.
