After obtaining the appropriate building permit from the city (Madison, =
WI) and securing wholehearted permission from the XYL ("I suppose you're =
going to do it no matter what I say, so you may as well go ahead.") I am =
ready to put up a tower to replace a rooftop tower that I took down a =
few years ago.  I'm planning on a US Tower MA40 in the tilt =
configuration that will lower nicely into the backyard when retracted.  =
I'm planning to mount the Ham IV at the top and use the tower for a =
tribander and to support a 40/80 meter inverted vee.

Just curious what experiences others have had with this tower and =
similar towers, both installation experiences and in use.  Especially =
how to dig a 3x3x4 foot hole.  Post hole digger??.  How does the rotator =
mount, etc?

Your experiences would be appreciated.
