I have owned several Universal Towers. My very first tower was a 30' one
and I installed the mast, rotor, and antenna before erecting the tower. It
was very hard to tilt the tower into position with all of that top weight.
You'll probably need a tow truck to winch yours up. I now have a 70' one
and I put this one up one section at a time with a gin pole. I climb mine
and
I was not aware that the manufacture does not recommend this. The tower
does move a lot more that a steel guyed tower, and it can be a little scary
to
climb at first. Be sure not to overload your tower, I did this and lost the
top section of a 60' Universal Tower several years ago.

tower is the fact that it is a free standing tower with no guys, I figured I
would just tip the tower over to do any maintenance work or adding of new
antennas. the tower will be in a 5x5x5 concrete base, it has a 30 inch
base and it is rated at 21 square ft. of wind load. what do you think any
