Jerry:

I use 8 conductor rotor cable for my 1000sdx.  I used it since I already had it 
on
hand.  I think its set up the same way as yours 2x18ga and 6x20g.  I just 
didn't use 2
of the conductors.  Its been working fine for the last 4 years.
