Jerry,

Since the Yaesu rotor only requires 6 conductors
and you have an 8 conductor cable, you can also
double up on two of the #22 wires.  I am not familiar
with Yaesu rotors but the CDR / HG rotors have
both direct and phase shifted motor control lines
so it would be good to use the doubled up wires
for all of those functions.  Use the single #22
wires for the position indicator lines.  A little
extra resistance in those lines will make no
difference since they are attached to the
an internal (500 ohm?) potentiometer.
