I have an R7000 that has been atop a 1.5" Rigid Conduit for 5 years. It
is mounted at 8'. The 10' rigid conduit was extended with a 12" steel
pipe nipple and a coupler. The bottom three feet is embedded in concrete,
which reinforces the weakness at the coupler.
