The way to answer this is to get a copy of YT (free with the ARRL Antenna
Book) and try superimposing the arrival angles from various DX locations on
the actual patterns at various heights over YOUR terrain.  Anything else is
just arm-waving, because the foreground terrain, destinations of interest,
and your QTH's location relative to those targets all come into play.
