I am putting up a 60' Rohn 25 foldover and plan to
secure it with concrete. While digging the
recommended 4' foot deep hole in sandy soil, I struck
a shelf of sandstone at 2 1/2 feet. I am searching
for suggestions before trying to blast through another
1 1/2 feet or try to find another location to dig.
I was considering welding latteral pieces and pour a
wider base.
How deep is deep enough?
Suggestions please!
