It's hard to argue that a community doesn't have the right
to set standards for appearance, safety, etc.  Maybe the real
problem is that people don't like to look at our antennas.

On this list, most of us probably think of antennas as things
of beauty.  How do we share that point of view?

I remember my first visit as a college student to the National
Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank WV.  Coming over that
last rise to see the 300 ft telescope took your breath away.  
(Sadly, that one fell down a few years back!)

Some ham installations have good visual impact, but many don't
esthetically "work" very well as seen from the neighborhood.
