Interesting threads about CC&R's....some years ago there
was an article in QST about one ham's solution. He erected
a vertical antenna complete with a good radial system. The
vertical antenna was well disguised as a flag pole and he flew our
American Flag on it.
As I remember it, or maybe in yet another article, a neighbor
asked about all the wires he was burying and the answer was
"lightning protection" (or whatever)...anyway the neighbor
was satisfied with his answer. The "trick" here is not to start
transmitting right away, so that there wouldn't be any correlation
between the erection of the "flag pole" and any TVI or RFI
problems the very next day :)
